Waleed Tarik Jackson Jr better known as Yungwa aka WaWa, and OG WA. Born March 19th 1997 raised out of the South Ward Weequahic section of Newark, New Jersey. Growing up with his brother by their late mother Patrice “Tonya” Smith of Newark, New Jersey Yungwa took upon rapping based on his everyday challenges and struggles surviving the streets of Newark By 10th grade Yungwa became an Highschool Drop Out at (OPA) Orange Preparatory Academy who later gained his GED at (IYO) International Youth Organization found his passion in music since a kid with inspirations of his Grandfather and other role models Yungwa is better known to his hometown from his hit songs “Don’t Lie To Me”, “Full Moon” & “Trenches”
