Living in the #2 media market in the country, Chris Loos grew up listening to some of the most influential DJ’s in radio history. Growing up in Pasadena, CA, Chris graduated high school at 16 years old, and he started his own radio show while enrolled at Pasadena Community College soon after. His experience with college radio led to interviews with such artists as Eminem, Xzibit, The Black Eyed Peas, and Kelis while they were in the early stages of their careers. Chris earned an internship at KIIS-FM and studied under legendary Rick Dees on his morning show. This led to a position at 92.3 The Beat during its streak of dominance in L.A. radio. While there he got to watch Theo, John London, Kevin Nash, and Diana Steele, but learned the most as the producer on Julio G’s night show, as well as Street Science with Dominique Diprima, and the Temple of Hiphop with KRS-1. When Chris was ready for his own show, he took over the late night shift at Hot 94.1 in Bakersfield, CA. After gaining #1 rating in the market, he moved over to Hot 92 Jamz in L.A. with the SoundLab Mix Show on Friday nights. Chris then took his career to the next level by becoming the Program Director for a start-up station called WILD 96.1 in San Bernardino, CA. After helping build the station from scratch, he took over the midday slot and quickly developed a strong fan base. Next, Chris was approached about helping launch a new station in Los Angeles that eventually would become 93.5FM KDAY, where he was the Assistant Program Director/Music Director and early afternoon jock.

Now that Chris is back at WILD 96.1 hosting the Night Show, he's working on taking his media career to the next step. After interviewing such artists as Sean Paul, Trina, Mike Epps, Chamillionaire and many other entertainers, Chris is planning his next move into the television, film and DVD markets. His ultimate goal of becoming a major media mogul in the likes of Russell Simmons is bound to happen soon for him in the next couple of years.
