Inspired by Hip Hop super stars such as N.W.A, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Krs-One, and a host of others Majesty Sozey began writing and spitting rhymes in 1988. Already viewed as a future poet by his middle school teachers Hip-Hop became a second nature to him. Already having a way with words, a comedic sense of humor and a talent to articulate himself in rhyme form. Yet and still he didn't make his first recording until late 1993. Receiving a great deal of recognition on a local level as a key member of the group Mafia Causin Pain. Performing in many concerts around the city in small clubs and mostly as the opening act at early cash money records shows, Maj began to gain a love for the business side of the game and put his dreams of becoming a solo artist on hold. He then began to work in music production, promotions, and studio engineering. But with his passion for writing, spitting hot lines, and already having a rep as one of the best unsigned artist in the city, it wouldn't be long before the mic was calling him back. Majesty quickly started working on his solo project. With the growing popularity of mixtapes, he then began recording his own. But as faith would have it, he finished recording his mixtape and a seven song B.P. released just a month before Hurricane Katrina hit his city. Luckily he had previously distributed his mixtape to several people before the storm so his mixtape had traveled in many different directions. So after re-grouping, getting his life back together and armed with all of his masters and the masters of other songs that he had produced or was featured on. Majesty is now ready to bring his music to the fore front. He will not be able to go wrong with his mixture of rapid fire flows, smooth swagger, raunchy at times lyrics, and banging, solid, hard hitting, southern Hip-Hop tracks. Majesty is finally prepared to show the world what he is made of.
