DJ SCENE

For over 10 years DJ Scene has moved thousands of crowds with his progressive style. His trademark technique of scratching and mixing familiar 80s beats, Classic Rock and Old School with the new flavors of Hip Hop and Rock, sets fresh standards in every venue he performs. The combination of his advanced turntable skills and tasteful record selection have earned Scene opportunities to perform at multiple "Summer Jam" stadium shows, entertaining crowds of 22,000+. In 2000 Scene mesmerized fans and created a loyal following when he backed up Seattle native Sir Mix-A- Lot on the turntables at a sold out stadium jam-packed with 25,000 hip hop fanatics! Can you say "Baby Got Back"? From this point on, it was clear that a star DJ was emerging. Scene has since grown to be one of the most influential DJs in his market and a household name in hip hop throughout the nation. In 2002 he captured the Northwest DMC DJing Championship title and went on to represent Seattle in the US Finals. Shortly after opening for 50 Cent in 2003 at Seattle's Paramount Theater, KUBE 93FM (the biggest Clear Channel radio station in the Northwest) approached Scene and asked him to come on board. He gladly accepted the offer and soon became one of the most popular on- air DJs in the Northwest. Scratching, blending, producing exclusive remixes and adding his style to the Seattle airwaves drove Scene to the top of his profession. For the past three years, Scene has been entertaining and inspiring millions of people as KUBE 93's official DJ for the sought after "5 o'clock traffic jam" slot and "8'clock mixtape!" Scene also graces national airwaves with four weekly spots on XM Satellite Radio 67 "The City" which broadcasts his innovative sound during peak traffic hours in LA and NYC. For over a year now, he has been pre-mixing shows for XM Satellite Radio, which caters to over 6+ million people, further expanding his listening audience and heightening the impact of his unique sound. As far as clubs are concerned, Scene is currently spinning three weekly residencies and has performed multiple club events with DJ AM, DJ Homicide, DJ Vice, DJ Craze, DJ A-Trak, DJ Premier, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Mix Master Mike, Crooklyn Clan, Pete Rock, Prince Paul and Rob Swift all across North America. He has played at Pure Las Vegas, Pergatory in Dallas, Fluid in San Francisco, Axis in Boston, Djanco in Atlanta, Conga Room in LA, Crystal Ballroom in Portland and Sonotheque in Chicago; just to name a few. DJ Scene continues to travel all over the US as a Scion (Toyota) resident DJ after being selected as a national finalist in the 2005 Scion "Free Up Your Mix" contest. He is also one of the top Hip-Hop DJs on the entire MySpace.com website with over 71,000 friends (myspace.com/djscene) and has been booked as the official tour DJ for MySpace for many official MySpace events, performing across the country. Aside from working with Toyota and MySpace, he has also participated in a number of private and public events for Nike, Sprint, Microsoft, and Playboy along with a heartfelt involvement with the Washington State non-smoking ad campaign. Scene continues to entertain large audiences by opening for some of the biggest names in the music business.
